EQ5 Bracket Missing Measurement
« on: December 26, 2015, 18:54:41 »

Hi TCWORLD, I'm getting an RA and Dec bracket made from your googlesketchup plans for the eq5 and nema 14 motors and there seems to be a missing measurement on both the RA And the dec plans.

Without these measurements I don't know where the bar is meant to be placed on the angle. Am I missing something?

Hmm, I thought they were in there, clearly not. In any case, if you have google sketchup, you can simply use the ruler tool to get the dimensions. The drawing is accurately dimensioned so the ruler will give you the required information.

I'll update the drawings when I can. Thanks for pointing this out.

Hi, Thanks for the reply. I figured out the RA measurements, But the dec seems to be out by 1mm. 20mm+20mm+6.9 coming up to 46.9 but that entire length is shown to be 47mm in the lower measurement.

Hmm, seems to be out by 0.1mm. That last 6.9mm should be 7mm, but it is a non-critical dimension - the length of the bracket extending past the block makes little difference.
