Arduino Mega - Audio Jack on PWM
« on: October 20, 2017, 14:38:37 »

I am currently building an AstroEQ based on the Arduino Mega.

What is the purpose of the mini audio jack PWM connected to Pin 10?
I also have an AstroEQ unit (purchased) and this one does not have the audio jack.

Do I really need it?

Raoul.

Primarily its there for if I ever get my act together and come up with a hand controller - to provide power. In practice you could just split the barrel jack.

You don't really need it at the moment, and it's probably not critical later on.

Tom,

Thank you. This make it all a bit easier for me. :-)
