AstroEQ + INDI tracking problem
« on: February 19, 2018, 05:42:15 »

Hello!
I'm sorry if I duplicate this question. I have a DIY AstroEQ with latest firmware. And I have INDI Server on my Raspberry PI 3. I use latest build INDI (Compiled from source). Tracking starts only if I click left or right navigation button. I finded same problem in http://www.indilib.org/forum/mounts/1306-eqmod-tracking-problems.html. I check build and it contains a fix. But problem still exists =/ Who solved this problem?

P.S. Sorry for my bad English...

Are you using the latest version of the firmware? (V8.11)

There were some major fixes to the AstroEQ firmware in V8.11, specifically related to fixing a myriad of problems with INDI.

I compile firmware from https://github.com/TCWORLD/AstroEQ/tree/master/AstroEQ-Firmware in AtmelStudio. I think it's latest version.

Yep, that will be the latest version. Not sure what the issue is.

As I posted in my old thread - I have this problem also with DRV8825/2650 setup, i.e. sidereal tracking will not start unless I manually move the mount first with the ekos mount control keypad... not a huge issue though.

TMC2100's on order - be great to get rid of the pitchy buzzy noises!
