Dec Slow goto rate
« on: January 22, 2020, 12:29:06 »

Hello!
I'm using an arduino mega + ramps 1.4, everything seems to be working fine except the speed of GOTO / PARK from DEC. I've tried several configurations to upgrade the EEPROM but nothing worked. The speed of the RA is normal, but the speed of the DEC looks like the driver is ignoring the microstep settings (uStep Gear Changing: Disable / Microstep Engine Level: 32uStep)
Notes:
1) When the Update Utility reads the EEPROM the value of the 'Goto rate (x sidereal) returned is 4.
2) The value of dcGoto in the log is 255, as follows:

: z1
Awaiting Response ...
61
48
65
13
= 0A
raGoto10
: z2
Awaiting Response ...
61
70
70
13
= FF
dcGoto255

Can anybody help me?
Thanks!

Which version of the configuration utility are you using? I've just released a new version (3.9.2) which should fix some issues with uploading of DEC speed and gear changing parameters.
