Testing TMC2100
« on: April 20, 2023, 02:06:09 »

Hello!

I'm testing the TMC2100 drivers with an atmega162 Astroeq.

For some reason the drivers are not responding well to microstepping change. I'm using 2/16.

Measuring the voltage on the CFG pins, when the pin should be GND it is, with 0v. But when is in float, I read 0,3V to 0,4v. Is this enough to trigger a "float" condition in the driver?

Because when I do slew aroung until about 120x the tracking speed, the motor turns very fast, but after that it goes very slowly (like the driver has not triggered a microstepping speed change).

Any Ideas?

Thanks
