Hi,
thanks for uploading those, that will make life easier!
Do I need to do anything with SJ1 and SJ2? Or can they stay as they are ie unj-umpered?
Many thanks

Another with an old HEQ5 non goto mount here.
I purchased the AstroEQ April last year, but have only just got round to start building it. I was interested to find this thread, especially as I thought I was going to have to replace the original steppers, but now it seems I might not.
However, as Spookylight shows in both his photos and specs, the RA stepper is a 6 lead motor, whilst the DEC stepper is 4 lead. On the 'Building Your Own Controller' pages, the section on using using a 6 and 8 lead stepper covers using SJ1 and SJ2 to bridge, but I can't work out from the description what combination of SJ1 and SJ2 I would use do drive one 4 lead, and one 6 lead stepper. Or if this is even possible?
Has anyone completed the AstroEQ conversion to the non goto HEQ5 using the original steppers?
Many thanks
