DIY AstroEQ / Arduino Mega 2560 and Pololu DRV8834

Hi all.
I'm trying to build an AstroEQ for my EQ3-2. As a basic I want to use the Arduino Mega 2560 and drivers Pololu DRV8834 (because I have it). I have a problem with connecting these drivers to Arduino correctly. The Arduino scheme is based on DRV A498x or DRV882x. In the diagram to Atmega162-16PU there are jumpers for DRV8834, but I don't know where to connect pinout CFG and REF to Arduino
In addition, in the Pololu module DRV8834 pinouts CFG and REF are disconnected - they are as optional pin jumpers ( https://www.pololu.com/product/2134 ) Someone could help me solve this problem.
