Hi Tom,
Thanks for the reply, yes I realize that the firmware has changed, so I'll try your suggestion of adding a resistor\link in the morning, I may even work out what other changes may be easily enacted, as I'd also like to update the driver modules to TMC2130\2208, of which I have loads kicking around...
As for the flashing status led, it flashes at the same rate, as when the board was 'working', and pre\post firmware upgrade, i.e. approx twice a second.

AstroEQ Support / Configurator Unable to read EEPROM
« on: January 17, 2021, 13:30:50 »
Hi Tom,
I bought one of your units a few years ago, so its hardware version is 4.4, which I use with a modded SW EQ5, on an ad hoc basis, for testing purposes.
All was ok till yesterday, when I attempted to update the configuration (ustep, step angle etc. for some new steppers motors).
Post updating the device, the Configurator (version 3.9.3) was unable to then read the EEProm.
Using the Configurator, I'm able to update the firmware (v8.19), so it appears that the boot loaders are working ok, and in device manager the COM port shows up as expected, using your latest published x64 drivers, but am unable to read\update any configuration.
Any ideas what could be the issue, and how I can fix it? do I need to roll back the firmware\bootloaders ??
Julian.
