New to AstroEQ forum
« on: June 27, 2017, 10:40:10 »

Hello All,

I am Vincent, new to this forum, new to this AstroEQ product.

I just received my AstroEQ controller this morning. Very nice piece of hardware !
The enclosure is smaller than I thought, it will attach perfectly to my mount.

+1 for fast delivery time !

Attached a picture of my mount (with its old steppers controller)

Thank you,
Vincent

Hi Vincent, welcome to the forum. Great mount you have there. Glad to see your "workspace" resembles mine, only yours is a bit lot tidier.  8)

Hi Phill, Peter802 and all,

nice to see people around !

I took some time this weekend to solder a small hand controller for AstroEq.

I will now jump to motors solderings and let you know.

Hi all,

my mount finally equiped with AstroEq, x2 Nema 17 (0.9°), and basic hand controller for visual stuffs.

I added all the electronic into a carton box (controller and PSU), to make it easy to move.

You will notice the yellow pulley (MXL) on DEC shaft. It is my first "3D printed" part (received my printer yesterday night..).

Final tests and fine tuning will be done with the help of a clear sky.

It is a really nice project, I love it,
Vincent
